Obituary for Rita May Dienethal

Rita M. Dienethal, nee Kaiser, age 80, formerly of Lombard. Beloved wife of Philip Dienethal, Sr.; loving mother of Philip (Patty) Dienethal Jr., Brent (Terri) Dienethal, and Diana (Rich) Behnke; devoted grandmother of Patrice (Scott) Sherer, Natalie Dienethal, Lauren (Phillip) Williamson, Caleb, Joshua, and Aaron Dienethal, Rich (Renee), Michael (Caroline), and Matthew (Lynda) Behnke, Megan (Todd) Millar; great grandmother of Emma, Scotty, Kate, Phillip, Mia, Jack, Corbin, Chance, Charleigh, Dylan, Isabella, Zander, Austin, Shelby, Madelyn, Brooklyn, Gunner, and Evelyn; fond sister of LeRoy (Mary) Kaiser, and the late Arlene Danca; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Rita was a devoted special ed. Teacher at Chicago Public Schools for 18 years, and proud wife of a Chicago Police Officer. She was known for her love of art, especially her knitting and crochet; but she will be remembered most fondly for her love of her family.
Visitation Tuesday, September 12, 3-8 PM at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blks. S. of Roosevelt) Lombard. Funeral Service Wednesday, 10 AM at the funeral home.
