Obituary for Dennis A. Fruhauf

Dennis A. Fruhauf, age 76, a resident of Lombard, passed away in his home on August 31, 2018. Dennis was predeceased in death by his parents, Lillian (Lang) and Anthony Fruhauf, and his dear brother Norman Fruhauf. He is survived by his children Denise and David Fruhauf.

Dennis graduated from William Howard Taft High School, Chicago, IL in 1959. He served in the United States Air Force as a Radio Technician on a Communications Squadron stationed in Libya and California. Dennis was an electrician with the IBEW Local 134 Chicago, and left after several years to start his own company, Fruhauf Enterprises, Inc. in 1977. He was a member of the Lombard Masonic lodge #1098 and a Royal Arch/Master Mason. Being an avid movie buff, Dennis was an extra in films, including Only The Lonely and Reasonable Doubt.
